KAISER SPREAD THE KNOW

Kaiser Healthcare's spreadtheknow.com campaign engaged the visitor to learn more about the disease and to become more involved.

A television campaign featured the Barnstormers, a painter collective. The artist painted an entire city block, including a city bus in Philadelphia, PA with a colorful "KNOW" message. The Hip Hop artist Common was on hand to offer and jumped in to offer a dab hand at painting himself.

In addition to the television commercial, the spreadtheknow.com website engages the visitor with an “Online Graffitti” section where they can design their own "Know" artwork. The artwork may then be sent to a friend or even featured in the online gallery. Visitors to the site may also watch a "behind-the-scenes" video, download a screensaver, and perhaps most importantly of all find a local HIV Testing Center in their neighborhood.
