Dallas, April 17, 2006 - Haggar Clothing Co. announced today the appointment of Michael Stitt to the position of President of Haggar Canada, effective immediately. Mr. Stitt will be responsible for all of the company's Canadian operations. Stitt will report to Jim Lewis, Haggar President and Chief Executive Officer.

Stitt has been with Haggar Canada since its inception in 1999, and has been credited with contributing to the significant growth of the brand in that country during that period. Prior to Haggar, Stitt was National Sales Manager at Mister Leonard, a leading Canadian women's sportswear company.
