Haggar names Steve Bernier to senior vice president logistic services

New York, NY (July 31, 2006) - Haggar Clothing Co. announced today the promotion of Steve Bernier to Senior Vice President of Logistic Services. Mr. Bernier had previously been Vice President of Distribution. Mr. Bernier joined the company in 1984.

In addition to his current responsibilities, directing all shipping operations and working with Haggar's retail customers to improve logistics, Mr. Bernier will be directing customer compliance and engineering operations. He will continue to report to Jim Lewis, President and Chief Executive Officer.

During Mr. Bernier's 22 years with Haggar Clothing Co. he has held numerous positions. As Operations Manager he designed and directed the start up of Haggar's 660,000 square foot Distribution Facility and as Industrial Engineer he implemented the company's first use of bar code technology.
